The calendar knows your burn

A camp is a year-round operation with a dozen deadlines that genuinely hurt when missed. burnmanager ships with your burn's calendar built in and nags the person who owns each one.

The year

The whole cycle preloaded

From standing in December and intent in January, through the placement questionnaire and layout in March, fuel and water order cutoffs, event submissions in June, passes in July, to the report and restoration score in autumn.

The year

Role-based reminders

The fuel deadline goes to the power lead, the layout to the placement lead, the health permit to the kitchen. Not one inbox owning everything: the right nag to the right person.

Seasons & retros

Close a season with a retro, then clone it: roster, inventory, budget, lessons. Next year starts from experience instead of from a blank sheet, even when leads hand over.

Why this module exists

These deadlines currently live in newsletters and one veteran's memory. The community has a story for every missed one, including the camp that missed the fuel registration window in June and ran out of generator fuel halfway through the event.

Black Rock City sets the rhythm and the regionals mirror it in miniature: registration windows, layouts, build and strike. One calendar per burn, owned by roles instead of heroes, is the difference between a camp and an annual emergency.

Questions camps ask

Which burns are covered?

Black Rock City in full detail, with presets for the regional network: the European burns and the larger US regionals, growing as camps bring their own.

What if our camp takes a year off?

The season archive keeps everything: at Black Rock City established camps can pause up to two years without losing their history, and your tool memory should not be the thing that expires.

Can deadlines be custom?

Yes. The preset is a starting point; every camp adds its own: container pickup, truck rental, work weekends.
